"Liminal space; a space between what was and what will be. An area where any trace of presence seems to remain nonexistent. Because in our world full of chaos and ado, a liminal place is tough to physically be at. However, we can experience them on an emotional, metaphorical or spiritual level as well. I wish for the viewer to think about how that applies to them. Does it make you feel safe, calm, uncomfortable, intimidated…? For many people, the concept of nothingness and emptiness is troubling to grasp. With this, I intend for my work to transport you to such a place. Imagine yourself surrounded by the emptiness of these halls. Let the void speak and feel the presence of the absence."
